Follow-up & Financial Investigations

Our follow-up investigations include verifying the alibi, conducting neighborhood canvasses and interviewing witnesses such as insurance agents, bankers, governmental licensing agencies, suppliers and law enforcement officials. In cases of arson, the scene examination will often provide strong facts that will lead to meaningful information during the follow-up investigation. In such cases, if separate investigators are used at the scene and follow-up investigation, valuable information is often overlooked. Facts from the scene can frequently connect a person during the follow-up investigation. We recommend that the investigator who conducts the scene examination also conduct the follow-up investigation.

Financial investigations are conducted and complete courthouse records searches are performed. We utilize credit reporting agencies in accordance with The Fair Credit Reporting Act. A complete follow-up investigation and a thorough financial investigation should give the adjuster all the facts surrounding a claim.
